Ingredients

1) 2 quarts water

2) 8 cups fresh or frozen cranberries

Directions

In a Dutch oven or large saucepan, bring water and cranberries to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until berries begin to pop (about 20 minutes).

Strain the mixture through a fine strainer, pressing it with a spoon to extract the juice; discard the berries.

Return the cranberry juice to the pan. Stir in the sugar, lemon juice, and orange juice. Bring to a boil, cooking and stirring until the sugar dissolves.

Remove from heat, let it cool, and transfer to a pitcher. Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
